September 2013 – Parks Committee

1. Review of the Central Park Conservancy's plan to reconstruct the Fort Clinton and Nutter’s Battery Overlooks, located in the northwestern corner of the Park just south of the Harlem Meer. The Conservancy's goal is to enhance these sites as overlooks and destinations in the northern part of Central Park, and better integrate them into the surrounding area.--joint issue with the Landmarks Committee.
2. Discussion of desires/needs for improving the East River Esplanade specifically in the CB8M district.
3. Follow-up on the spring forum on Open Space: Where do we go from here?
