AGENDA:

  1. Legionnaires' Disease Update from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
  2. Land Use Committee Public Hearing: 800 Fifth Avenue (between East 61st St and East 62nd Street) - The Applicant seeks a non-ULURP modification (previously termed a “Minor Modification”) to special permits granted by the City in 1976. The Proposed Action would allow for the reconstruction of the existing building with a recent LPC-approved design that would keep the existing building’s height and would modify the street wall to be in greater compliance with current street wall regulations. The Proposed Action would also reduce the floor area of the building and the size of the below-grade parking facility. The design of the Proposed Development was reviewed and approved by the Community Board on November 19, 2025 (link to Full Board minutes) and was approved by LPC on November 25, 2025.
