Do not drink, ingest, swallow or bathe in Lysol, bleach or any disinfectant. Please be sure all disinfectants, bleach and similar substances are out of reach of your children. There has been an uptick in calls to poison centers.

Governor Cuomo outlined a phased plan to safely reopen New York at the appropriate time, taking a regional approach.
APRIL 21ST RESOURCES AND UPDATES:
New York City has cancelled event permits for all non-essential events scheduled in June. The Celebrate Israel, Puerto Rican Day, and LGBTQ Pride parades are officially cancelled. Shakespeare in the Park is cancelled.
APRIL 17TH RESOURCES AND UPDATES:
Governor Cuomo issued an Executive Order that effective April 17 at 8 p.m., New Yorkers MUST wear masks or face coverings on public transportation systems and while taking private transportation or riding in for-hire vehicles.
APRIL 15TH RESOURCES AND UPDATES:
Governor Cuomo issued an Executive Order today that all people MUST wear a mask or face covering in public in situations where social distancing is not possible.
Hunter College is offering “Hunter at Home”, a series of interactive lectures, readings, and discussion with Hunter faculty who will share their research and take your questions.
APRIL 13TH RESOURCES AND UPDATES:
The State established a new partnership with the New York State Court System to create a pro bono network of volunteer lawyers to provide New Yorkers in need with free legal assistance with unemployment claims.
APRIL 10TH RESOURCES AND UPDATES:
Flags will be flown at half-mast in New York State to honor those New Yorkers we have lost as a result of COVID-19. The flags will fly at half-mast as long as New York is on PAUSE.
Governor Cuomo launched a social media campaign to show who we are staying home for.

The Comptroller's office has created an online COVID-19 Resource Center to support New Yorkers through this pandemic. Whether you are a homeowner or tenant, want resources for nonprofits, small businesses, or freelancers, are concerned about New York's seniors, students, or our immigrant communities, the Comptroller's COVID-19 Resource Center has information you can use.
APRIL 7TH RESOURCES AND UPDATES:
E Pluribus Unim is now part of New York State’s Great Seal. Out of many, one. As Governor Cuomo said, “the importance of that motto is especially clear and relevant today.”
Governor Cuomo has extended the NY PAUSE executive order until April 29. Schools and non-essential businesses will remain closed at least until that date.

New Guidance: Wear Homemade Masks in Public
As of yesterday, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is recommending that everyone wear a face covering when outside of their home to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Wearing a face covering will not make New Yorkers invincible! Health officials are adamant that we still need to stay home as much as possible.
