Paving season returns!
It's spring! Color is returning to Central Park, flowers are blooming on Park Avenue, baseball is back, and the Department of Transportation is gearing up to resurface 1,150 lane miles of streets across the city, including here on the Upper East Side.

CB8 Seeks Designer for New Logo
Community Board 8 Manhattan (CB8M), which represents the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Roosevelt Island, is seeking a graphic artist to create a logo for the Board. That design will appear on the Board’s website, as well as on materials that publicize the Board’s activities.

Queensboro Bridge Lane Closures Through November 26, 2025
The Department of Transportation will continue the replacement of the Queensboro Bridge upper deck with nighttime, single lane closures in each direction as per the schedule below until Saturday, November 26th. These lane closures are restricted to the nighttime, however, there will be single-lane, rolling closures in the daytime to drop off material as required.
