September 2012 – Environment & Sanitation Committee

1. The NYC Department of Design & Construction will present an update on the 59th Street Water Main Reconstruction Project.
2. The NYC Department of Sanitation will present its plan for street sweepers and related garage services in consideration of the Mayor’s announced project for the E. 74th Street Sanitation Garage site, along with DSNY's contingency plans in the event that its intended plan becomes unfeasible. The committee also invites input on the environment and sanitation items that the public may want included in the scoping document for the Environmental Impact Statement to be prepared by the proposed project developers.
