March 2011 – Zoning and Development Committee

1. Presentation: Bernadette Nation, Director of Business Outreach and Emergency Response at the Department of Small Business Services will talk about the range of services available to small businesses in New York City. She and her staff assist the small business community with resolving issues they may have with government services. In addition, the SBS staff also responds to commercial emergencies which physically impact small business operations and help them on the "road to recovery.
2. Report: Illegal signage -Strategies for enforcement will be discussed along with the status of outstanding violations.
3. Update: CB#8's R8B Zoning Text Amendment application will be discussed.
