1. Financing Eldercare: This timely forum will address the high cost of eldercare. Should Medicaid and/or Medicare be expanded to assist more seniors? Is self-funding eldercare a viable solution? Are nursing homes and assisted living facilities cost effective? To address these issues, forum speakers will include: Prof. Naomi Cahn, University of Virginia Law School; Jessica Forden, New School for Social Research; Dr. Eilon Caspi, assistant research professor, University of Connecticut; and Jill Gianola, founder of Gianola Financial Planning.
