Women and Families Committee joint with Voting Reform Task Force

This joint meeting will address key issues for voters--especially abortion rights--on the state and national level. Expert speakers will discuss the pending New York State Equality Act--what it is and and how we can help ensure that it passes.

Speakers and the committees also will discuss how to keep crucial issues (especially reproductive rights) front and center in the minds of voters, nationally. Given the issues at stake, the Voting Reform Task Force will address ways to get out the vote in November. It will also provide an update on the proposed NYC City Council redistricting plan.
