DESCRIPTION:Public Session – Those who wish to speak during the Public Session must register to do so by 6:45 pm\n\npublic Hearing: Car Share Text Amendment\, CEQR No. 10DCP032Y\, ULURP No. N100284ZRY-The Department of City Planning is proposing a text amendment to Article 1 Chapter 2 (12-10); Article 1 Chapter 3 (13-012\, 13-14\, 13-42\, 13-144\, 13-551\, 13-561); Article 2 Chapter 2 (22-323); Article 2 Chapter 5 (25-412\, 25-42\, 25-68); Article 3 Chapter 6 (36-46\, 36-51\, 36-52\, 36-523); Article 4 Chapter 4 (44-35\, 44-41\, 44-42). These changes would allow car share vehicles to park in parking facilities accessory to residential\, commercial and manufacturing use and in public parking lots and garages. SUMMARY:January 2010 - Land Use Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Residential Streetscape Preservation Text Amendment-CEQR No. 10DCP013Y\, ULURP No. N100139ZRY-The application by the NYC Department of City Planning for a city-wide text amendment to clar-ify\, revise\, and introduce new regulations to preserve and enhance the streetscape character or residential neighborhoods. The proposed amendment aims to meet a number of goals with regard to front-yard planting\, parking allowances and requirements\, curb cuts\, and open space in residential districts. In addition\, the proposal responds to a recent court decision regarding the applicability of the word “development” and its effect on resi-dential parking and planting rules. The proposal also fills the gaps in the existing regulations by establishing curb cut rules in districts where none exist. The text amendment includes revisions primarily to the following ZR Sections: 23-451\, 25-621\, 23-44\, 25-633\, 25-631\, 36-532\, 28-50\, 13-551\, 13-553\, 25-211\, 25-64. The text amendment will generally apply to all residential districts in the city in all of its 59 community districts.\nStreet Life Committee\nOld Business\nNew Business \n\nJacqueline Ludorf\, Chair \nMinutes:\n\n0110 LU.doc\n\nResolution:\n\nLand Use Resolutions JAN 2010.pdf
